The City of Baytown and Harris County Public Health are partnering with local artist, Jessica Rice, to add an interactive art installation to the Unidad Skatepark ramp. Join us on Saturday, April 9th to watch the transformation, participate in family fun activities, and even volunteer to paint with the artist!
Registration is required to paint the skate ramp. Spots are limited! No special skills or supplies required - just dedication to beautifying our parks!

REGISTRATION PROCESS
Registering is a 2-step process. Step 1 - Each volunteer must sign up individually and sign the volunteer waiver to become a “qualified volunteer”. Step 2 – Receive a confirmation email and complete registration.
Click “Respond” to get started. When the “Submit Qualifications” screen pops up, click “City of Baytown Revised Release.” Complete and sign the release, then click “Submit Qualifications.” Your registration status under “Required Qualifications” will change to Pending.
Check your email for a confirmation. Once you receive a confirmation email that you are a "qualified volunteer," you can then register for the event by returning to this Volunteer Event Page. From there, you will need to hit "respond" again to register for the event.
FAMILY REGISTRATION
Perfect for families with children 13 years of age and older. If they are above the age of 13, please have them create an account and sign up individually.
Must first be a qualified volunteer. Click “Respond” to get started. When the “Submit Qualifications” screen pops up, click “City of Baytown Revised Release.” Complete and sign the release, then click “Submit Qualifications.” Your registration status under “Required Qualifications” will change to Pending.
After your qualifications have been approved:
- At the top right click "RESPOND AS A TEAM"
- Decide on a team name (ex. Smith Team)
- Click "Add yourself"
- Click "Add volunteer" for each child attending
Your information is not displayed publicly and will only be used by the volunteer site coordinator for the event management.
