You can be a Superhero! This is a volunteer opportunity that will be loads of fun!
Each year Promise Center organizes a comicon that is FREE to the public so that families and youth have the chance to enjoy a family friendly event that they may not be able to attend in Houston. Every volunteer will get a coupon for a free sandwich & drink.
Each 4 hour shift we will need help for our event vendors and public guests. Volunteers will greet the public guests of the event at the front door, sign them in, count attendance, answer questions by the public (like where are the restrooms & snack bar?), help in snack bar, guest speaker panel rooms, help in green room and any other "extra pair of hands" help that we need.
Help vendors at their tables, watch vendor's tables for their restroom break, bring them snacks, water etc.

Dates Sat, Sept 11th and Sunday Sept, 12th
Each volunteer shift you sign up for will be a 3 or 4 hour volunteer slot. You can sign up for as many slots as you like. All shifts are listed as a separate event on this volunteer connect page. This is a free event for the community, so feel free to stay and enjoy after you finish your volunteer time period. Water and snacks will be provided for volunteers. Every volunteer will get a coupon for a free sandwich & drink from the snack bar.
