Fred Aguilar Promise Center

Fred Aguilar Promise Center is an organization led by a board of local leaders who are immersed in the needs of our Baytown community. Each board member offers unique skills and connection with resources and needs in Baytown.

Our volunteers are all champions of helping those who may face a specific challenge or desire to improve their lives and need an advocate to help them achieve a more healthy, educated and financially secure position in the community.

Promise Center is a grass roots community center that has been serving Baytown for 25 years. Improving Baytown's youth & families lives with an after school CAPE club for students K-5th grade and many types of programs/events related to art, music, exercise, and community skills for youth.

For adults we offer our Seeds of Promise program which provides classes on growing food, healthier eating, exercise (including walking groups) and mental wellness.

Throughout the year we have one time events & shorter classes for basic computer/smart phone skills, financial literacy, exercise and managing diabetes and high blood pressure.

Events we have annually are our amazing annual Eastern Rim Comicon, children's summer camps, youth leadership camp & other life improving events for youth & adults, festivals, 5K's, health fair & backpack giveaways. ALL of these couldn't happen without YOU, the volunteer.
