The Back-to-School fair, hosted by the City of Baytown Community Development Division and Communities in Schools of Baytown, is a free event for GCCISD students to receive new backpacks and essential school supplies for the start of the school year. It will be held at the Baytown Community Center (2401 Market St.) from 8 am to 12 pm, or until supplies last. Volunteers are needed from 7:15 am - 12:30 pm to help with various event needs such as set up, greeting guests, handing out resources, restocking backpacks, checking in families, and cleaning up after the event. Must be 13 years of age or older. Parents may volunteer with their children if they are under the age of 13.
