Baytown and Chambers County Disaster Recovery Team might be on standby, but recruiting volunteers to help support the community when disaster strikes is ongoing. Disasters can hit our community at any time. Whether fires, hurricanes, flooding, or any other kind of disaster, we need volunteers ready to mobilize when the need arises. You will be contacted, if volunteers are needed for any projects related to disaster recovery. Duties may include providing immediate shelter protection (tarps), trash/debris clean up, mucking & gutting of homes, packing assistance, and other activities as determined by needs of the community. We are always in need of volunteers who can speak Spanish.
