Volunteer Opportunity: Be Part of the Doorstep Blessing Team!
Join us as we serve our community through the Doorstep Blessing Program, a delivery-style initiative that breaks down barriers to access to healthy, nutritious food while meeting dietary needs. This program is about so much more than food—it’s about connection, education, and care.
Through personal delivery or a welcoming community room atmosphere, we offer:
- Nutrition and chronic condition education.
- Cooking demos and healthy recipe ideas.
- Access to resources from social service and healthcare agencies, creating a true one-stop shop for our neighbors in need.

- When: Thursday, March 19th
- Where: Meet at Hearts and Hands to load up and travel to Birdsong Place. 1017 Birdsong Dr. Baytown, TX 77521
Volunteer Roles:
- Setup Crew: Help prepare the space for distribution.
- Distribution Team: Assist with handing out nutritious food and resources.
- Encouragement Ambassadors: Share a warm smile and uplifting words with our precious guests.
What to Bring and Wear:
- A cheerful spirit and willingness to serve!
- Comfortable, closed-toe shoes.
