Making it Count Experience

Previously known as the Poverty Simulation, the Making it Count Experience (MICE) is an interactive experience navigating finances and resources. As a volunteer, you'll play the role of a community resource provider, interacting with participants as they make tough financial decisions. Participants will work toward paying bills, finding jobs, securing child care, and managing unexpected challenges. This experience will deepen your understanding of how community resources support struggling households, and your involvement helps foster empathy and inspire change.
