If you enjoy volunteering during Day of Caring or if you missed out and would like the chance to make an impact in our community. Then join us Friday, January 17th during MLK Day of Service to motivate students in contributing to their campus' Dream Wall mural.
How This Impacts Students
This activity encourages students to reflect on their dreams and aspirations while fostering a sense of community and empowerment. By contributing to the Dream Wall, students visualize their goals and take pride in their shared vision for the future.
What Volunteers Can Expect
- Work in pairs alongside the Communities in Schools Site Coordinator to engage and guide students.
- Prompt and motivate students to participate by sharing their dreams and adding to their campus mural.
- Enjoy a meaningful indoor activity during the campus' lunch hours, helping to create an impactful and memorable experience for the students.
- Volunteers will need to be screened by GCCISD before participation in activity, so Diana will forward all volunteer information for this process to occur.
This is a unique opportunity to connect with local youth and leave a positive mark on their school environment. Sign up today to be part of this inspiring event!
