Then this is the perfect volunteer event for you!
Many of our other volunteers have been working hard to prepare our community garden beds for this special day. Today we will plant the four week old seedlings (baby plants) into the garden. We are looking for a few loving hands to get these growing vegetable plants off to a good start. We will also be weeding around the plants that were planted in previous weeks. This is a fun and easy task and is appropriate for most ages. We encourage parents to volunteer and bring a child (6 or older) to help and enjoy this experience.
