Who We Are
Project GRAD improves lives in low-income communities by helping individuals develop and achieve their educational aspirations. Starting in ninth grade and continuing through college graduation and into careers, Project GRAD staff and volunteers support students at critical junctures of their educational path to make sure they accomplish their goals. We nurture their dreams early in high school, build confidence and self-awareness, provide information and guidance, help them get into college and find financial aid, and guide them on the journey to and through college and in obtaining a workforce certificate, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree. At every stage, we support students and their families to help them navigate obstacles that might derail success.
What We Do
Project GRAD reaches deeply into the communities we serve in order to achieve our mission, partnering with trusted community organizations, high schools and charter schools, and community colleges and universities. Our programs provide a continuum of services during students’ high school years, as they transition to college, and while they are pursuing a workforce certificate, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree.
