What We Do

We service the Southeast Harris County, Eastern Brazoria County, Northern Galveston and all of Chambers County areas.

BATP operates a 24/7/365 crisis hotline for victims of sexual and domestic violence. Trained staff provides crisis intervention, safety planning, referrals, and access to agency services, as appropriate.

We have an emergency shelter that serves as a safe haven for survivors of sexual and domestic violence. The shelter houses up to 72 adults and children. Every individual and/or family is granted an initial 30 day of emergency shelter stay with the opportunity to apply for an extension if more time is needed.

BATP food services program is a basic needs service offered to all shelter clients. Each client in shelter is provided daily 3 nutritious, well balanced meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner along with 3 snacks. Menus are posted for clients to choose if they would like to partake in the meal for the day or make alternate arrangements.

We also have an array of other services such as children services, case management, advocacy, counseling, housing options, outreach education and prevention.
