Little Free Libraries Book Preparation Volunteer Opportunity
We are in need of volunteers to help package bags of books for our Route Stewards who refill our Little Free Libraries throughout the community. Your help ensures that our libraries stay stocked with great books for everyone to enjoy.
Volunteer Schedule:
Location: United Way Office
Date: April 14th
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 P
If you have a Team United T-Shirt please make sure to wear it.
Volunteer Tasks:
Pick up donated books from the Sterling Library
Bring the donated books back to the United Way office
Sort donated books
Stamp books for United Way approval
Place bookmarks inside the books
Package books into bags of 50
Place completed bags on the designated book bag shelves for Route Stewards to pick up
This is a simple but very important way to support literacy in our community and help keep our Little Free Libraries filled with books for readers of all ages.
