If you enjoy volunteering during Day of Caring or if you missed out and would like the chance to make an impact in our community. Then join us Monday, January 20th during MLK Day of Service to plant trees at the Banuelos Elementary recess area.
Impact students at this elementary school by promoting active play during recess and minimizing sun exposure during that Texas heat. Volunteers will be working in teams to plant trees and securing them.
Volunteers are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather, wear closed toed shoes and clothes they don't mind getting dirty. Having gardening gloves on hand are encouraged as well. Water and food will be provided for volunteers.
