Through this program, teachers submit clothing and hygiene requests for students who may lack proper resources. Our goal is to ensure students can focus on academics — not on the lack of clothing or hygiene essentials. Volunteers play a vital role in maintaining our Clothing for Kids Closet and preparing these student requests with care and confidentiality. Volunteer Responsibilities Order Preparation Process Print the Request Form Prepare the Label Write the Teacher’s Name, School Name, Student IDNumber Attach label to the bag Identify if the student is Male or Female Confirm the requested size category: Toddler/Youth Boys Toddler/Youth Girls Female Juniors Women’s Men’s Go to the closet section that matches the request. Disasters can hit our community at any time. Whether fires, hurricanes, flooding, or any other kind of disaster, we need volunteers ready to mobilize when the need arises. Volunteers will be called upon when disaster strikes in our area. If you are interested in volunteering to support the disaster recovery respondents, please sign up here. You will be contacted, if volunteers are needed for any projects related to disaster recovery. Duties may include providing immediate shelter protection (tarps), trash/debris clean up, mucking & gutting of homes, packing assistance, and other activities as determined by needs of the community.
